GAMES

  • Touch Apple: Siege of the Bacilicum is a casual arcade ​game where you play as a hand and you try to avoid ​as much apples as possible to get a high score and ​there are win conditions (read in-game guide).


  • Released March 8th, 2024 for Windows.


  • The game was developed in Godot over the course of ​8 days as a fan game for a streamer called ​(oboeshoesgames), to understand the odd title and ​nature of the game you have to be a longtime viewer ​of oboeshoesgames but the game can still be enjoyed ​by everybody.


  • All in game art assets were created by me from the ​ground up for the project.


  • The game features: 3 levels, 3 difficulty options for ​each level, animated backgrounds, sound effects, 4 ​music tracks 1 for each level and 1 for credits (not ​original), an options menu, a guide menu that explains ​some of the lore behind the game and more features.


As for my second game and it’s the one that I’m working on right now it’s called “Rusty Muzzle” ​(work in progress), it’s a side scrolling narrative driven adventure game where you play as a ​tank called Gus that finds himself in a... peculiar situation.


As much as I want to share more about the vision of the game it’s too early to do so, the game ​is still in pre-production stage (mostly research and prototyping mechanics).


The scope that I’ve set for the game isn’t too big but it’ll take a long time to make it since I’​m working alone so I can’t really estimate a release window or when I’ll be able to share more​ about it but make sure to follow me on social media (especially YouTube) to stay upda​ted on the progress of the game.

ABOUT

Hi, my name is Mohamed Saber I’m an aspiring game dev based in Egypt. I enjoy single-player ​story driven games.

I’m a nurse but hope that one day I can make a living out of game development and be able to ​do it full-time (solo or with a team).


I started learning game development in early 2024. I have no background or previous knowledge ​in art or programming so progress is coming along slowly but surely.

My goal is it to make story driven games with as much variety and mechanics as possible with no ​padding or overly reused content.
